Bubbling over!

May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace

in believing [through the experience of your faith]

that by the power of the Holy Spirit

you may abound and be overflowing

(bubbling over) with hope.

Romans 15:13

Hope AND Wait

This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope.

The Lord's lovingkindnessess indeed never cease,

for His compassions never fail. 

They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

"The Lord is my portion," says my soul,

"Therefore I have hope in Him."

The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, 

to the person who seeks Him.

It is good that he waits silently for the salvation of the Lord.

Lamentations 3:21-26

Guidance

My son, observe the commandment of your father

and do not forsake the teaching of your mother;

Bind them continually on your heart;

Tie them around your neck.

When you walk about, they will guide you;

When you sleep, they will watch over you;

And when you awake, they will talk to you.

For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching is a light;

And reproofs for discipline are the way of life.

Proverbs 6:20-23 

Shine!

Arise, shine; for your light has come,

and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.

Then you will see and be radiant,

And your heart will thrill and rejoice;

Because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you,

the wealth of the nations will come to you.

Isaiah 60:1,5 

He is working...just wait.

For the vision is yet for the appointed time;

It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail.

Though it tarries, wait for it;

For it will certainly come, it will not delay.

Willing to learn

Be merciful and gracious to me, O Lord, 

for to You do I cry all the day.

Make me, Your servant, to rejoice,

O Lord, for to You do I left myself up.

For You, O Lord, are good, and ready to forgive;

and You are abundant in mercy and 

loving-kindness to all those who call upon You.

Teach me Your way, O Lord,

that I may walk and live in Your truth;

direct and unite my heart to fear and honor Your name.

Walking

Pray that the Lord your God may show us the way in which we should walk and the thing that we should do.  Jeremiah 42:3
